I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
any idea what this wagon is ?? I was thinking it's a band organ --- maybe not ----
I believe it used to be an animal cage (but I can't remember where I saw that) It sells hot food now. The signs hanging from the left and right that are flapping in the wind say "haute frische bratwurst" (hot fresh bratwurst) and if you look carefully inside the wagon you can just see the beer pumps
Yes. This is a "grease joint" wagon. It was positioned right in front of the entrance. Like all of the equipment that I photographed, it was beautiful!
