Posters for Sale

This is just a smattering of some of the posters I need to sell. My Dad had rolls and rolls of posters and then a stack of flat ones. It appears that the flat ones were the cream of the crop with some of them being linen backed already. This one is. The barn still has one pony sized parade wagon, a 40' ring curb, my uncles table rock tables, the banners and bannerline poles, 3 aluminum poles, A 30' Anchor tent frame, some harness, block & tackles and gosh knows what all else. I live 650 miles from my folks. I don't have a barn or storage facilities. Sadly, something has to go. So I'll be moving a lot of this on eBay ( http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/tigeract ) and on my website at ( http://www.thecircusworld.com )

Posters for Sale

This is a one sheet in very good condition.

This was apparently pulled out before the printing process was finished. There is a full color Otto to go with this. I'll probably offer them together.

Posters for Sale

This has already been linen backed. This poster utilizes photo images rather than artwork.

Water for Elephants

Here's a few pictures that Dick Dykes had on his blog of the Water for Elephants movie being made in Fillmore, California.

Water for Elephants

Water for Elephants

From left to right is the Italian band Chariot, # 73 is not identifiable from this photo as 73 was the RBBB Hippo wagon, Next is one of the corporation three arch cages, baggage wagon and the # 2 Hagenbeck-Wallace generator wagon. They are all from the Circus World Museum collection.

Water for Elephants

One of the train cars they have painted up.

Water for Elephants

You can see the top of the Sells-Floto Ticket wagon and the muffler of the #2 Hagenbeck-Wallace Generator plus a baggage wagon in between from the Circus World Museum.

Beggs Wagon Co.

Should you have inquired ith the Beggs Wagon Co., here are a couple letterheads they would have used to respond back to you with.

Beggs Wagon Co.

This comes across as a real beautiful metallic gold on the actual letterhead.

Beggs Wagon Co.

The Beggs Wagon Co. out of Kansas City, Missouri was a leading manufacturer of circus wagons for many years. They even created a catalogue of their work. An original is now being offered on eBay for almost $500.00. This catalogue is a reproduction issued in 1973 with all the great images and information in tact. This is the Front Cover.
