- I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

This is pygmy hippo cage #77. Notice the high floor in front so that a tank could be placed in the rear.
Members of the Pat Kelly Ring of CMB are in the process of restoring this cage. This past May during "work week" we replaced 7 of the tires and started the restoration. We are going back in July to continue the restoration work. Will keep you advised of our progress along with some photos.
