Bob: I thought you'd be on this but here goes my two cents worth:
Elephants that I know of being on United Nations:
Doc brought two and Remo had two.
Remo's two came from Cristiani Wallace: Lois and Sheba. Lois had been with RBBB, then the "Little Cristiani" (King Bros) show of 1959-60, Wallace Bros 1961, Cristiani-Wallace 1962; Don't know Sheba's background but was on 1962 Cristiani-Wallace. Remo kept both of these after UN broke up.
Doc's two came from RBBB to Hoxie 1961 and Bartok 1962: This would be Sabu and Minjak (or Minyak).
There was also the announced arrival of a young elephant but I have no info on her.
If I have done my research correctly over the years, I would be in complete agreement with Whitey.

There are way too many Cristiani titles (and people) to try and keep up with, not to mention their involvement with the Bailey Bros., Wallace Bros., Dailey Bros. and King Bros. title. How does anyone do this?
Was 1963 the only year for the United Nations title? Was this Remo's first breakaway from the other shows? Who is this Doc guy I assume he was partnered with?
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

Bob:
What were the names of these elephants and where did they come from?
Thanks, Jim

That's it for me.
