This is the final version the show used. The first had a bit larger and more detailed globe with a jumping lion on one side and a jumping tiger on the other. I think RBBC griped about the globe,at least that's what I remember. I think the lion and tiger had been lifted from Globe Posters paper. I always thought the first design was much nicer.Doc had used it when he wrote me about lettering the show.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
