More 1/2" Scale models
This Mt. Vernon Flatcar is all made out of brass and sequin pins as the rivets. Each one is drilled and soldered. These are the old aluminum wheel sets that Johnny Lower was selling. I just bought some wheel sets from Karl Kruger in NY last year that are real nice also.

These are beautiful Bob, you need to start building again.
Very nice --- were you down here over the years for the parades??? I don't recall running into you , back then . Noticed Lower's sunbursts on Sparks --- I still have a few of those sets too. You old timers are just full of tricks --- I suppose next , we'll find out that you worked a flying return , or wheel of death act too !
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
