We're trying to pass a healthcare plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,... all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke.

I think that pretty much sums it up. Do you know there is a clause in there to make every citizen that doesn't have insurance pay a penalty each and every year that will be close to $2000?

Write your Congressmen and Senators. I did! This has got to be stopped.

This is a Wm. Koford Photo that was distributed by Albert Conover. To the left and center of the photo is the Ringling show. What is on the right? It looks like an entrance to a carnival. I have no idea where or when this photo was taken. Does anyone have any ideas?

Circus Kirk

Circus Kirk was an institution when it comes to the travelling circus as the only all-student circus that moved on a daily basis for over 10 years. Our leader, our Mentor, and our great friend after all those years was the show's owner, Dr. Charles "Doc" Boas. Here he's giving someone directions to town at the farm outside of East Berlin, PA. Actually, that someone looks like me.... but I can't be certain about that. I don't remember having all that hair!

What's a show with out a labor force? Well, here we see side show talker, magician, fire eater and illusionist, Tom Ogden on the far left. Tom went on to become a World Class magician and has authored several books. In the center with his back to you is Dave Fulton who was the leader of the Biggest brass band for several years and worked on film and music later on creating a great documentary on Circus Kirk. To the far right is Craig Carlson. Craig was a Big 10 Gymnastics champion from Minnesota who kept his professional career going on the Nordmark show for several years that I know of. The Blue hard hat in the far back is Middy Streeter a great clown who kept his career going for many years and our show's medic.
