- I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

Wood, not Woods.
ha ha that is right, it is wood. How did his name get misprinted so many times through out all those Billboard magazines. Anyways, i am his grand daughter, Shannon Wood. His son, Michael wood is my father. I never met my grand father. He died way befor i was born. I dont know much about him, except fot the great stories my dad has told me. But i have seen alot by scouring the internet. So please feel free to send me links or pictures of him. Im extremely fasinated with him, especially since i am wanting to have a degree in history.
