Cole Bros. Stake Driver

We need your Help. Here is a picture of a stake driver on the Cole Bros. Circus with a generator mounted in the front. The solid wheels seem to indicate the possibly the first few years of the Cole show ( 1935 to 1939 perhaps )
Can anyone offer any information about this wagon?
When was it on the Cole show?
Where did it come from?
When was it last used?

In Brad's Cole series, he tells how one year (maybe 1937?) they were on the west coast and picked up loads of hard rubber wheels- had them stashed in every place on the show- and the next winter put them on the wagons, replacing the steel-rimmed. Don't know when they went to pneumatics.

Dave, didn't this stake driver come from the 101 Ranch equipment?
Remember seeing a photo of it in 1935 with hard rubber tires on the rear and wooden spokes still on the front. Don't remember the Christy stake driver going over to the Cole show. G.W. was still renting the Houston Live Stock Show tents during the 30's and maybe he kept his?
Aren't these just motors for the stake drivers and not a light plant?

If you look closely you'll see a light bulb on the plug board to the right of the gen/set. You only need 1 engine to power the 3 heads on the stakedriver. I believe this photo is from 1940.

Bob- A check of the Joe Bradbury Cole series shows this configuration in 1940. Seeing as how I'm taking Randys models up to the Boo today maybe he'll give me a little time off to do some research on this matter. Imagine poor me slaving away putting up his display while he's lounging in the Florida sun. He makes Donald Trump look like a nice guy! I guess that's show biz.

One of the two stake drivers burned in the Feb. fire at w.q. in 1940.
Would think one of the Cole bros. fans would have spoke up about this wagon. Did they use the small power plant as the train light plant after it was loaded on the train?
