I think I had several of those when I was little --- we used to catch them out by the creek --- we raised them for their pelts !
What was pelts? ws that a local hardware store or something? Down here we have Belks department Stores.
No , no, ---- we made belts ,( rhymes with pelts ) hats , mittens , earmuffs and fuzzy underware from the outer skin (pelt) of these gigantic creatures , for use during the cold , cold winters here up North. Belk's Department Stores -- would that be like Pinwhinney's mudjacking and flagpole anchoring store chain ????
