Another great set of photos. I would hate to think how much it would cost to ship something like this today. With all the hoops the goverment has in place since the Lacey Act started in May of last year. You can't ship a wooden circus model into this country without doing paper work of where the wood came from,etc. p.j.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
