WOW- This is an oldie! The building that has come to be nicknamed the John Deere building. The last several years elephants were kept there overnight. Before that it was storage and before the Deppe family gave it to the CWM it was where they built their race cars. To the left is where the present side show is erected and behind is where the menagerie and big top once stood. Now a lot used for the wild west reenactment. Lots of history in this photo, Bob. Flint
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
