You will notice in the light plant truck, one of the former RBBB generators. They had purchased these and one of the stake drivers. I think one of these generator sets was on Carson and Barnes into the 70's. Maybe Dom will know for sure. Ted Bowmen had kept the brass builders plates from these.
Thank you again for sharing these great photos this last week.

I worked the Kelly-Miller Circus the summer of 1963 when I was 16 years old. I remember Dutch and Miss Oklahoma very well. He also took care of Nick the Rhino who got loose one time and chased people all over the place. I also helped put up Freddy Logan's lion cage and loaded his blank pistols. I remember John Carol who was a bull man and had an indentation on his chest from when Tina the elephant stepped on him. I also remember Robert Kline who took care of most of the animals. I had the time of my life and I will never forget that summer.

When I was 16, I spent the entire summer of 63, working for Kelly-Miller. I helped put up the big top and the circus rings and guyed and tightened the ropes on the tents. I remember Dutch and Miss Oklahoma. Nick the Rhino, Tina the elephant. I helped Freddy Logan put up his steel cage for his 7 black maned African lions and loaded his blank pistols. I remember John Carol , a bull man who had and indentation in his chest as a result of an elephant stepping on him. I recall Robert Kline and Curly, a tattoo artist and quick draw cowboy from our side show. I can almost smell the fried baloney sandwiches from the pie car and hear the small three piece band starting the show with " There is no business like show business"
