One of the six beautiful lithos Forrest Freeland did for the show. I wish I'd saved a big stack of these. There were two half-sheet flats and four short panels.
Once on the route I went in the hobby shop owned by a well-known fan. I gave him a couple of posters for his collection but when I got next door I realized that he had stolen all the Freeland short panels from my hod while he was supposedly looking thru them.
I went back and he denied this, but years later he listed them for sale.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
