- I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

You know Harriet Beatty worked an act like this (originally with both a lion and a tiger) on Cole Bros and then with various shows she and Clyde were with right up until her death.
Several people including Zeke Walsh, Albina Beatty and Dorothy Herbert worked it after her death or when she was too sick to perform.
Years later when Mary Jane and I were with the Hanneford advance Struppi had a tiger riding an elephant; her first tiger died during the first year and I don't know if a new one was trained or not.
I am interested in this one,and any other ones with elephants!!!!!!
