This straight sided Mt. Vernon car was made around the 1921 to 1924 era. Shown here in 1967 on the Cetlin & Wilson Shows carnival, it was later purchased by Royal American Shows in 1968/1969 after Cetlin & Wilson went out of business. Royal American never used it and later loaned this car and seven other flatcars to the Circus World Museum where they became part of the Great Parade Train. The Sedlmyer family donated this car to the Museum on September 11, 2003 to preserve the oldest existing flatcar in the entertainment world.
