Circus Vargas


Here's some backyard shots of the Vargas show. I have no idea when or where they were taken as the negatives were given to me.

There is an off chance that these photos date from the summer of 1975 and that this might be Dolly Jacobs. She was with Vargas breaking in an aerial rings number that she took to Ringling the next year. We (Circus Kirk) were booked nearby and went to see their matinee. I don't remember the town but I'll never forget Dolly Jacobs. If I remember correctly, we traded a couple of musicians and came away with a piccolo player.
