- I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

I had thought that this wagon had a Hagenbeck-Wallace background but I wasn't 100% sure. I asked Mr. Fred Dahlinger who confirmed it was. The Chariot racing scenes were added by Circus World. The wagon itself was a chair wagon and bought buy Jerry Booker who eventually sold this wagon and a HW Cookhouse water wagon to Circus World. It is believed that the Water wagon was scrapped for parts while at Circus World.

I should have added that this wagon is now at the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, WI.
