Wagons at Circus World in Florida
I think the number 115 is decieving as 115 had been one of the Side Show Banner Wagons and all 4 of those are at the Ringling Musuems. This was taken in the backyard area away from Public view.
From Dom Yodice: Photo 11: #115 wagon. This is actually wagon #145 and is currently restored at CHOF. When CW was repainting it, they scraped away the old paint. They saw the remains of several numbers underneath. The part of the 4 that was remaining made it look like a 1 so they numbered it 115.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
