Boy, does this bring back memories! Don Kidder on the left (Mack driver)Bill McFann on the right (CAT driver/all around mechanic). The place is the old Navy Pier in Chicago either 1981 or 1982. The Mack is suffering from a "flat"- or rather "lack of" tire. We were doing a circus parade for Mayor Jane Byrne. What a fiasco. Flint
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
