SC State Fair
Mr. Charlie Daniels and company was the live entertainment on Sunday at the SC State Fair. At 73 years of age, he didn't slow down. For an hour and a half, he showed just how talented a musician he really is.
So , is this the same stage that the bagpipers use for their performances , or do you have a special , air-conditioned building ,dressing rooms , and limo parking area for them ???
Of course they have a better stage. The GOOD stage and facilities are located about 5 blocks down the road. As a matter of fact, they were diverting all the traffic down to the Fairgrounds to avaid the huge masses that would be wanting to get in to the good stage area and the performing pipers.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
