With any luck, someone will give us a date for this shot. The trailer did not have this excellent pictorial during my time there, 1965-1969. Let me look for a photo from that era.
Benny Bennett and Earl LeGrand built a 40-foot, 3-den cage wagon, which is seen in CAGED FURY, 1950. At on point, Ray Chandler gave it a new and magnificent paint job, so I'm wondering if this semi-trailer is his work, also. Who can answer this for us?
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
