The Great Circus Parade
Ah, the sights and sounds of one of America's Greatest Treasures returns in all its glory next Sunday as the Great Circus Parade once again brings the streets of Milwaukee alive with Hundreds of horses and exotic animals, 50 some circus wagons, bands, floats, and more. For the million or so people that will be there scrambling for a great view, best wishes. For the rest of us, PBS will be filming the Parade live beginning at 1:30 CST with fellow Circus Historian Fred Pfening III providing some of the Historical backgrounds on the circus entries. Check your local listings.

Hello Bob,
Any news on which PBS stations will carry the parade this year? BizTimes has a story about it being in Hi-def, but no listing of pbs stations.
Can't believe that no one has come forward to help with money for next year. Somebody doesn't understand the economic impact that all this brings to Milwaukee.
P.J.,
I can only hope that it will air locally. It serves no purpose to just air in the Milwaukee area.
The Converstaions that were held last year at the CHS convention has the parade on a potential once evry 5 years schedule. Here's hoping!
Bob
