Bandwagons
I found this P.M. McClintock photo in one of the pages. It is handwritten on the back as the 4Paw show in 1899 in Des Moines, Iowa. Notice the silk top hats worn by the driver and those behind him.
This is Barnum & Bailey, could be 1897 in the US, or 1898-1902 in Europe. The wagon was on Forepaugh-Sells in 1910-1911, but not drawn by a forty-horse hitch.
