RBBB WQ 1952


Here are a few pictures from the old Sarasota Winter Quarters. A lot of these old wagons had Al G. Barnes backgrounds.

    I think Mr.Flint is correct about wagon #49 as the side brackets match photos that I have.

    Wagon #2 was taken off the road in 1950 when the unit was placed in the new dishwasher wagon. The power plant from this wagon was then installed in a former cage. This wagon came to RBBB in 1936.
    In other news of 1952 with Cleaver-Brookes and circus equipment???
    That was the year Cleaver-Brookes purchased the America calliope and restored her. I think she made her 1st appearance at that years Wisconsin state fair.
