With an early morning downpour overwith, the humidity had finally broken, blue skies were shining and the crowds were coming out. No sir, it wasn't going to rain on our parade today!

- I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

This group seems to have a certain flare about it ---- which blots out the grey sky in the distance --- what's really surprising is nobody's munching anything ! What's a circus parade without popcorn , and a bagpipe band ??
The popcorn hadn't arrived just yet and what bagpipe band?
This is a circus parade. Biggest Brass band, Oom Pah Pah and all that stuff.

I`d have to be crunching down on some popcorn in order to drown out the noise of the bagpipe band!!!
