Necessities
This was a former Ringling / Barnum unit that went to Royal American Shows and eventually came to the Circus World Museum. It was used on the Milwaukee Parade grounds a couple times in the early 1970s.
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

Boy...do I remember having to choke these things on the flats. Not so bad on the way down, didn't look forward to it for the trip home!!
