Great Artwork from Germany
No, this doesn't have anything to do with the circus but the artwork is exquisite.

Artwork is the right term. Looks like the same truck and background in all of the images, suggesting that these were Photoshopped off the same basic picture, down to blurring the background and other little visual tricks. They were probably done to promote the sale of "semi art."
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.

Semi art, is that half-assed art?
