Bob, When I was a little boy, we had one of these, it was about 5' tall. A lady who live next door to us ran a small grocery store and Coca Cola gave it to her, she had no children so she gave it to us. We always set it up betwen the tree and the fireplace. I have a old picture of it next to the tree, I think it`s dated 1955. I`ll look it up and send it to you, don`t know what happened to it, but sure wish I had it now. Merry Christmas !
I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
