RBBB at Bayfront Center in St. Pete - 1966


1966 offered the legendary Hugo Schmitt and Charly Baumann. Here are some opening day photos taken at Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg, FL. ( Bayfront Center is now torn down )

These can't be from 1966. The early Feld-era logo with the mascots is on the wagon, Swede Johnson is the clown sitting on the sidewalk behind Charlie Baumann and an elephant is wearing a blanket that says Jumbo.

If I had to guess, I'd say that these were from the 100th edition in 1970.

Dom Yodice said the same thing. I certainly would not argue with a Ringling authority. The only thing I had to go by was what was written on the slides.
