Augusta, GA. Fair

Hal, Kathy, Sylvia and I all went to Atlanta a couple weekends ago. On the way back, we drove past the Augusta Fair where the James E. Strates shows was playing. The train was buried in the yards across the street but Hal got four pictures of the coaches.

Fair Food

While you are at the Fair, you have to try at least three Dougnnut burgers just to make sure the first one was really that good. After Hal and I got there, they had to start making more donuts. Go figure!

SC State Fair

If your going to the State Fair, you might want to ride some rides. It was $20.00 Pay one Price Monday through Friday if you bought advance tickets or $25.00 at the gate. I don't need to tell you, the grandsons did all they could to try to wear out most of the rides before we finally headed for home!

SC State Fair

I think every show we have seen any where this year has been using these basic colors. What ever happened to RED?

SC State Fair

Check out their website.

There were several more of these Did You Knows throughout the Fairgrounds. Unfortunately, my Camera's battery was dying by time I found these.

Wagon Building 101

When its cold outside, work inside! Marv Gauger and his crew built the elephant tab in the CWM shops. Does anybody know if it was new from one end to the other or was their an actual artifact in the construction?
